No celebration is complete without sharing. The best way to share is with a hungry tummy. India is a self-sufficient country in food production but still, a bulk of people are living under the official poverty line and die each year because of starvation. The root cause of this is poverty and inequity. The long-term solution to malnutrition is growing and eating healthy food.
Despite all its achievements, however, India is also home to the largest number of individuals experiencing hunger on the planet. Hungry bellies are passing up the major opportunity to become the productive individual of our society.
Upgrades in nutritious status have not kept pace with the nation's noteworthy success in prodding monetary development in a previous couple of decades. We must promote farming practices and develop income generating activities.
